Meridian Daily — Privacy
Last updated: 28 October 2026
Scope
Meridian Daily is a private personal productivity application. This policy describes its Google account connection and associated planning and AI features. This public information site does not expose the private Daily workspace.
Google information accessed
With account-owner authorization, Daily accesses the connected account email address, Gmail message metadata and message contents needed for selected features, the list of subscribed calendars and calendar event information. It keeps bounded saved copies so useful information remains available when a connection is offline. It can request broader message contents when a message is opened or assessed. Attachments are read only by features that explicitly support and request them.
How information is used
Information supports email and calendar views, daily briefings, email triage, project correspondence and reply tracking, project evidence review, planning and requested AI assistance. Gmail permissions support reading, composing and sending email; calendar permissions support reading and modifying events. Sending messages and making external calendar changes require explicit review and approval in Daily.
AI processing
AI features may send relevant email or calendar information and selected project context to the configured AI provider, currently OpenAI through the signed-in Codex connection, to generate a requested response, assessment or draft. Provider processing is governed by the applicable provider terms and account settings. Meridian does not use Google data to train generalized AI models, for advertising, or for sale. Google data is used only to provide the owner-facing features described here.
Storage and protection
Daily stores application records and saved Google copies on its host computer. Google authorization credentials are stored using Windows protected storage. Access to the application is restricted to the owner and explicitly authorized connections. The public site is hosted by Google Sites; Google may process ordinary website access information under its own privacy policy. Private Google account records are not published to this site.
Sharing and human access
Data is shared with service providers only as needed to operate requested features. The owner controls access to the private workspace and connected assistants. Meridian does not sell personal information, share it for targeted advertising, or provide unrelated people access to private Google records.
Retention and deletion
Saved messages, project references, assessments and other records remain until removed or cleaned up by the owner. Backups may retain earlier copies until they are removed or rotated. Disconnecting an account removes its local authorization; it does not automatically erase saved copies or project evidence. Revoke Google access through Google Account connections, and contact the owner below to request deletion of saved application data and applicable backups.
Your choices
Connect only accounts you intend to use. Review proposed external actions before approval. Disconnect an account in Daily settings or revoke access at https://myaccount.google.com/connections. Request access, corrections or deletion by emailing josephbullock@gmail.com.
Google API data
Meridian Daily’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements: https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy
